Welcome to Burton Dickinson Consulting Ltd.

Burton Dickinson Consulting was established in 2008 by Ian Burton and Thea Dickinson.

BDC is a small company  consisting of two principals and a wide network of colleagues and associates. Our strengths include a high international reputation and many years of experience (Burton) and new skills, energy and motivation (Dickinson).  We have formed a partnership to make our collective capacities available to governments, the private sector and civil society.  Our expertise is in the area of climate change, especially adaptation to climate variability and extremes.  We work at the interface of science and policy.  At this time we are interested in undertaking small single source contracts or being a supporting partner with larger consulting firms in the competitive bidding process in Canada and internationally.
